About College
Kr. Ramchandra Singh Lal Singh Kanya Inter College, Mainpuri is run by Ramchandra Lalji Trust, Mumbai. The main purpose of this institution was to encourage girls education. This institution was established at that time when girls education was very rare due to problems. Girls used to come by bullock cart. In the present time Shri Jitendra Singh Kushwah is the managing trusty of Ramchandra Lal Ji Trust, Mumbai.
Kr. Ramchandra Singh Lal Singh Kanya inter college is situated at kacheri road which is the main road of the city, near District Hospital in Mainpuri.
College started in 1931 with the classes from 1st to 8th. College got recognition pf High School in 09/09/1964 and of Intermediate in 13/10/1966.
“Facility of Library and Smart classes is also available in the college campus. N.S.S. and Scout Guide is running in the collge. Games facility is also available. There is a canteen for refreshment of the student in the college.”
Student are encouraged to take part in cultural programmes on National festivals and on such other occasions.
Various competitions such as speech competition, drawing and poster competition, science competition, debate competition, Bal Vigyan Congress competition and tec. are organized in the college timt to time.
“Every year ‘Best Student Award’ is given to students of High school and Intermediate bythe managing trusty. ‘Smt. Shakuntala Chauhan Smiriti Award’ is given to the first three students having high mark in Hindi in High school and Intermediate.”
Every year Managing committee provides woolen sweaters to the Poor students of the class 1st to 12th.
There is a Proctorial Board to maintain discipline in the college. All the class rooms from 1st to 12th are well furnished with metallic board, fixed furniture, proper light and fans. Pure water of borewell and cool water of water cooler is available for the students. Agni Shamak Yantra/fire extinguisher are kept on the certain places in the college. To operate them a training is given to the teachers and senior students time to time. To maintain cleanness there are sufficient toilets at every floor of the college building and there is a seperate toilet for the handicapped students.
The college campus is decorated with shady trees and sweet smelling flower plants.
At present, students are participating with full zeal and zest in every scheme run by government such as Swachh Bharat, (Clean India – Healthy India), Vrikshropan (Afforestation) etc.
